Chester Bowl holds season opener

DULUTH, Minn. – Chester Bowl in Duluth held the season opener for their ski and snowboard hill Saturday.

Volunteers worked around the clock to make snow for the community and, due to their efforts, a 24-inch base greeted visitors on opening day.

“People are so glad to have this release, a way to be outside, a way to be active,” said Chester Bowl Director Dave Schaeffer.

Chester Bowl does have several COVID-19 precautions in place.  People are asked to keep their masks and gloves on when in line and around others and are also asked to only ride the lift with members of their own household.
